Unique Antique Solid Brass Art Nouveau Custom Inkwell with Copper accents - Rare
A very unique Arts and Crafts inkwell which has been custom made for "Rosie". It has a theatrical theme with the copper mask, sword and bird accents which could also have symbolic meaning to the artist. It has a hammered Triangular tray which the inkwell is affixed to - Rosie could also be solid silver (not tested). The inkwell is fully functional, lid opens and closes securely and has glass liner. There is immense detail and thought gone into the construction of this inkwell. Beautiful ribbon surrounds the fabric like folds on the inkwell which can only be seen once opened.
A fully functional antique for use in the office, study or desk. Great for artists for ink etc.
Condition : Excellent Antique condition. Some wear commensurate with age and use - lovely patina that has built up of the years.
