A superb Art Deco work of art. This cast metal German Shepard dog has immense detail - always a sign of quality. The dog sits on a top quality marble base with a highly decorated front with white marble and gold strips very typical of the Art Deco Era. The photo or picture frame is a brass base with screws to clamp in the wooden backing and glass. The wooden backing is not the original piece. Very easy to screw open and close to change photos.
A fantastic statement piece for any home, office or interior design. Rare and unique.
Condition: Good Vintage condition, with some wear commensurate with age and use. Cast metal is green with patina from age and use. The metal is non magnetic. The marble base has a few minor nibbles on the corner but considering age in very good condition.
