Charming ornate pair of brass candlesticks or chambersticks with thumb rest

This pair of candlesticks is highly decorative with immense detail in their casting.  Curled up rims in the bottom with thumb rest for carrying the candlesticks around.  Estimate age is vintage mid-century rather than antique judging by the screw underneath.   A great addition to any interior design setting.
Condition: Very good vintage condition.  Some wear commensurate with age and use.
