Antique WWI French Military Trench Art Artillery Shell Trinket box with 1916

A charming gift for the discerning militaria collector or something for the man cave. This WWI Trench art trinket box has great historical features with the shell makers mark on the bottom. The hidden treasure is the French Franc dates 1916 TUNISIE embedded into the inside of the lid. This authenticates the period in which it was made. The two outer buttons are in fact military buttons with brass well worn from years of handling.
