Antique Pair Metal Railway / Railroad Candle Lantern Red Glass window

A lovely pair of industrial antique lanterns.  Black metal with a patent embossed stamp that seems to be patent on the glass door.  Red glass windows - red being a warning light or easy on the eyes at night.  They could also possibly be carriage lamps that clip onto the carriage.    Please see the photo with the tea light.  Convenient handle to carry lantern - the candle doesn't go out with motion as it is protected with glass.  Ventilation holes can be seen.  The paraffin lamp does slide out easily and therefore can be used as a paraffin lamp or candle holder.
Charming interior design piece. 
Highly decorative antique which has stood the test of time and would be ideal for home, patio, pub, and restaurant decor.
Condition: Good antique condition with some wear commensurate with age - there is a patina that has built up over time so it makes the lantern look great.   The door opens and closes securely.
