Antique Edwardian Silver Plated Horse Shoe Inkwell Signed

Antique Edwardian Silver Plated Horse Shoe Inkwell Signed

Antique Edwardian Horseshoe Inkwell c1910.

Uniquely designed silver-plated horseshoe on a solid oak base. Crystal glass inkwell, stylish with a snug fit.

Stamped: Daniel and Arter of Birmingham

A fully functional antique item for use in the office, study, or desk.  Great for artists for ink, graphic designers, calligraphy, and wet-ink signatures.

Condition: Good antique condition.  Some wear commensurate with age and use.  The usual silver plate loss that comes from age also authenticates it.   Crystal glass is in excellent condition with 2 tiny nibbles that are only noticeable on close examination.  The hinge is intact and works well.

Footnote :
Antique or vintage items have been used and as most antique dealers would say "PRE-LOVED", they will show signs of wear that are commensurate with age.  Now this will appeal to some as it authenticates it's age.
I will always try to list all faults found with each object to the best of my ability and photos form part of the illustrative narrative.
All vintage used items are sold "as is". If in doubt please ask questions before you make your purchase, I am always happy to answer and send additional photos if required.
